Paul Hoffert |
Paul Hoffert is currently on the faculties of York University and Harvard University. He is the author of three best-selling books on the Digital Age and a textbook for composing soundtracks to videogames and websites. He is Chair of the Bell Broadcast and New Media Fund, former President of the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, former Chair of the Ontario Arts Council. Mr. Hoffert received the Pixel award in 2001 the New Media industry's "Visionary of the Year". He was inducted into the Canadian Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995 for his success with Lighthouse, winner of four successive Juno Awards as Canada's top rock band.

Sylvain Lafrance |
Sylvain Lafrance is an Associate Professor at HEC Montréal and a consultant in the communications and business strategy field. He worked for 33 years at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Starting in 1978 as a journalist, Mr. Lafrance finished his exceptional career as the Executive Vice President, French Services, at CBC with a mandate to integrate the radio, television and Internet services. The goal then was to create one of the most important French broadcasting groups, a unique group in North America. On the international level, he assumed the chairmanship of the Radios Francophones Publiques, and also represented Canada on the Board of TV5Monde.
