Coaching, Mentoring and Succession Planning

A performance coach helps other people improve their proficiency and competence at performing a specific task. Sometimes performance coaching involves passing along knowledge, but that’s only a small part of the activity. As a performance coach, your real goal is to help a person improve the way they perform in a specific area.

A mentor follows a more open and evolving agenda, and deals with a range of issues including career guidance and passing on in-depth knowledge of cultural matters and management.

Use coaching and mentoring to leverage both personal and organizational development.
