The baby boom generation is steadily leaving the workforce or moving to reduced hours and/or different working relationships. Non-profits cannot compete with wages and benefits offered in the private and public sectors. In addition, younger workers are looking for ways to maintain work-life balance as they enter and move up in the workforce.
