The Cultural Human Resources Council (CHRC) strives to be at the centre of vision and forward thinking in the area of cultural human resources development. Its purpose is to strengthen the Canadian cultural workforce through leadership and innovative solutions on Human Resource issues, and to better the HR environment within the cultural sector.

Why Become A Member?

By joining CHRC (in addition to membership benefits) you will have opportunities to participate in programs and events, to network within the cultural sector and with partners outside the sector, and to provide input on CHRC's vision and direction. Members have the advantage of accessing current and unique resources that are relevant to the needs of cultural workers, and are often called upon to play an invaluable role in the development of leading-edge HR reference materials and tools. Your membership will assist CHRC in supporting its mandate to "initiate, coordinate and promote human resources planning, management, development and training in the cultural sector".
