The Cultural Human Resources Council (www.culturalhrc.ca) is a national
not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening Canada's cultural
workforce and improving the HR environment within the cultural sector.
One of CHRC’s goals is to strengthen management in the cultural
sector. Mentorship plays an important role in achieving this goal.
Experienced cultural managers and mentors representing cultural organizations
from around the country with a wealth of experience and knowledge developed a
competency chart and profile for cultural managers and one for mentors. The harts
and profiles are innovative learning tools designed to assist producers managers
and mentors working in the cultural sector.
