National Compensation Study for Cultural Not-for-profit Managerial and Administrative Positions

Welcome to the survey for the 2017 National Compensation Study for Cultural Not-for-profit Managerial and Administrative Positions. Download the questionnaire, complete at your convenience and email it by November 30th to Mercer Canada who is running the survey.

Check out the FAQ on the survey for more information.

CHRC is pleased to be undertaking this important research into current compensation data that is critical for recruitment, retention and human resource planning in the cultural sector. The study collects data on base salary, short-term incentive pay, employee benefits and perquisites, as well as a number of other topics, including various key human resources challenges.  It is being funded by the Department of Canadian Heritage and the Canada Council for the Arts.

We are working with consultants at Mercer to develop, run and analyse the survey. The questionnaire is detailed and could take up to an hour to complete – please don’t let that deter you. And please share information about the survey with your networks. We need as many responses as possible to ensure good and meaningful results.

To ensure confidentiality, Mercer will be responsible for the distribution, collection and analysis of all data. Participant organizations will be listed in the report, however individual data will not be divulged; only aggregate findings will be shared.

November 30, 2017 is the closing date for responses to the survey. The National Compensation Study for Cultural Not-for-profit Managerial and Administrative Positions 2017 will be available early in the new year.

Thank you for taking the time to complete the questionnaire!
